For some applications where, for example, stress-prone or brittle glass-filled thermoplastics are specified, Tappex has developed special threaded inserts just to suit these more demanding of plastics. These threaded inserts can be supplied in either Brass or Steel(s) for post-mould / press in installation, typically into either machined or moulded plastics at ambient temperature, with heat applied.
